Founded in 1992, ONC Lawyers has been enjoying a steady and healthy growth. It is among the top five largest firms among more than 700 independent law firms in Hong Kong. The firm has more than 30 qualified lawyers and a total staff number around 100. Its offices occupy two floors in a bank building in Central, the core business and financial district in Hong Kong. The firm is dynamic, industrious and innovative. All partners of the firm have had extensive experience and exposure in internationally renowned law firms before joining ONC Lawyers. These include dry and financing work for shipping clients both local and overseas; a full patent practice headed by a partner who is a UK-chartered patent agent, actively representing clients’ interest all over the globe and especially in PRC; a robust insolvency and restructuring practice enjoying the recognition and patronage of the Big Four; IPOs in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange working for both sponsors and companies alike; from advisory to deal-closing work for venture capital and private equities; cross-borders mergers and acquisitions with special emphasis in PRC and South-East Asia; license applications and legal compliance with local regulatory authorities for banks, insurers, securities and futures companies and funds management companies; a boutique trust practice working closely with a good network of both local and overseas corporate trustees; a Notary Public practice seasoned in handling overseas instructions; and cross-border arbitrations.
