Bindmans LLP strengthens team with appointment of new Associate
Anna Mazzola has been appointed as an associate in the Public Law and Human Rights team of the leading human rights law firm Bindmans LLP.
Anna acts for individuals and organisations in claims relating to breaches of human rights and abuses of State power. She has particular experience in cases arising from the criminal justice system and has advised many individuals on cautions and other conviction information which appears on CRB certificates. Anna also deals regularly with privacy and data protection issues including challenges relating to surveillance, databases and the unlawful disclosure of information.
Chambers 2012 rates Anna in police law as “absolutely fantastic; she is very accommodating and you can always rely on her.” In Administrative and Public Law and in Civil Liberties, Chambers describes her as “thorough and meticulous.”

Anna trained within the Government Legal Service and subsequently worked for the Ministry of Justice and in the public law team at the Treasury Solicitor’s Department. She has been working in private practice since 2008, specialising in public law, actions against the police and inquest work.
