Career

Desmond’s range of expertise in employment and labour law includes the structuring of employment terms, performance plans, employee protocols and processes, advising on global mobility issues, trade unions matters, retrenchments and termination of employment exercises, advising on restraint of trade issues, state pension matters, interfacing with the authorities relating to policy matters, issues arising from restructuring and corporate turnarounds amongst others. Desmond's practice in this area regularly includes working in conjunction with the regional employment practice comprising lawyers from each of the member firms in the Rajah & Tann Asia network.
