With more than 30 years of experience, Lay See advises financial institutions, judicial managers, liquidators, receivers and managers, mortgagees (exercising power of sale or otherwise), multinational corporations, individuals and foreigners on the sale, purchase, mortgage, loan restructuring, ownership restructuring and other related property transactions generally.

She has also advised financial institutions on financing of hotel and holiday resorts, buildings in Australia, New Zealand, the People's Republic of China, Indonesia, Thailand and other South East Asian countries. Lay See is also recommended as a specialist in the area of corporate real estate by various ranking publications.

Rajah & Tann Singapore LLP’s corporate real estate group handles investments, project financing, sale and leaseback transactions, joint venture arrangements and real estate securitisation as well as conveyancing matters across residential, industrial and commercial property. Its clients range from owners and receivers to developers and mortgagees. Margaret Chin and Elsa Chai head the practice. Lee Lay See was part of a team advising a boutique developer on the S$241m acquisition and financing of an executive condominium land parcel, while Lina Chua supported Chin in acting for Selangor Dredging on the S$47m acquisition of land for the residential housing development project.
