Partner and head of commercial property team, Salisbury. Caroline is a partner in the commercial property team and team leader of the commercial property team in Salisbury. She qualified as a solicitor in 1987 and has been with Trethowans since 2004. She specialises in non-contentious landlord and tenant work and commercial conveyancing. Caroline specialises in pension property work, transfers of businesses, and secured lending on commercial properties and businesses. She also regularly deals with leasehold enfranchisement matters. Recent work Caroline dealt with the property side of a sale of a private specialist care facility for £24m. Caroline is the lead partner for James Hay Pension Trustees, for whom the team carried out over 230 property transactions in the last year. Specialist areas: leases and landlord and tenant law, property work for SI PPs and SASSs, business purchases especially pubs and hotels, secured lending, leasehold enfranchisement.
