Partner specialising in company law, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, IPOs and secondary fund raisings, advising publicly quoted companies and financial advisers on English securities and disclosure laws and regulations, the Main Market and AIM rules and the Takeover Code, and on boardroom and shareholder issues and general matters of corporate governance. Recent work has included advising: Pinewood Shepperton on its Main Market flotation; the sellers on the £865m disposal of Scarborough Property Group; the University of Surrey on the sale of Surrey Satellite Technology; Fulcrum Group on its $295m merger with the funds services division of Butterfield Bank; the nomad and broker on the AIM flotation of Cambria Automobiles; and Acertec on its restructuring and refinancing .
