Partner and agriculture team leader. Experienced in contractual disputes, disputes with DEFRA, RPA and other public bodies, particularly in the context of subsidies, judicial reviews and human rights cases. Also specialises in animal welfare, Trading Standards prosecutions and Health and Safety prosecutions. Interested in environmental law, particularly pollution, Environmental Impact Assessment regulation, abatement notices and waste related regulations. Strong track record with interpretation of UK and EU legislation arising out of judicial reviews and RPA’s internal appeal procedure.
