Position
Chris has dealt with a large number of ‘heavy weight’ transactions over the last few years. Examples of these are as follows: acting for a major house builder in connection with a large residential development in Crawley town centre, this included a joint venture with Asda and with the necessary joint venture agreements and section 106 agreements with Crawley Council; the acquisition of a former hat factory in Luton for a house builder client and subsequently, a larger development in Cambridge; a funding agreement for an educational institutional with an NHS Trust for the construction of a new training and hospital facility; a funding and joint venture agreement for the construction of training and leisure facilities for a premiership football club; supervising the team dealing with the acquisition of a major site in Docklands for the construction of four blocks of apartments with ancillary commercial units; the sale of ?a portfolio of properties for a life insurance company, including ?a shopping centre and various stand alone properties; the ?re-development of an industrial park in Guildford; a promotion agreement for a large development site in West Sussex.
