Position
Principal areas of practice include: construction and engineering law; advising on all forms of procurement; preparing and advising on contracts and project documentation; advising on public procurements, regulations and directives, bonds, guarantees and warranties; project advice; dispute resolution, including adjudication (TeCSA accredited adjudicator), arbitration (Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators), litigation, alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and conciliation; professional negligence. Extensive experience from over 22 years as a specialist in construction and engineering work, including reported cases: Riddick v Greater London Properties; Crown House Engineering v Amec Projects and Lorne Stewart v Amey and Hermes Kreditversicherungs. Also experienced in preparing contractual documents for a wide range of commercial and industrial projects in the UK and overseas. Handles a wide range of disputes both domestic and international across most sectors including roads and rail, process plants, shops, offices and housing, institutions, education, mechanical and electrical and submarine cables.
