Position
An experienced commercial lawyer with a very practical approach to finding effective legal solutions. Kim is head of the commercial team and is responsible for delivery of advice including service framework agreements, agency and distribution and related trading issues. Kim provides specialist advice in the following areas: – identification, management, exploitation and protection of intellectual property rights, – structuring, drafting and negotiating IP transactions and licensing agreements, due diligence support on corporate transactions involving technology businesses, – e-commerce and data protection compliance. Recent work has included: – e-negotiation of more favourable patent licence terms improving owner’s revenue, – product evaluation and licensed manufacturing agreements, – software development and data use agreements, – software as a service framework agreement.
