Banking and finance

  • Mr. Aaron Solomon is advising Jain Irrigation Systems Limited with its debt restructuring with Indian lenders and international bondholders.

Corporate and M&A

  • Mr. Aaron Solomon represented Freightos WebCargo with its acquisition of Air Freight Bazar, a leading air cargo digital platform in India.
  • Ms. Michelle Solomon Le Page represented Inox Market Service SPA (Italy) in the sale of its securities in J.S.S. Steelitalia Limited to Jindal Stainless Steelway Limited.

Dispute resolution: litigation

  • Mr. Jonathan Solomon was appointed by the Bombay High Court as part of a three-member committee to assist with recovery of assets in the National Spot Exchange Limited matter.

Dispute resolution: arbitration

  • Ms. Michelle Solomon Le Page is assisting the French company Soufflet Alimentaire to enforce a French arbitral award against an Indian counterparty who is denying the existence of an arbitration agreement, in proceedings before the Indian Supreme Court.

Real estate and construction

  • Retained by McKinsey & Co., General Consultants to Pune Smart City Development Corporation Limited, for providing legal advice and assistance with over 30 infrastructure projects for the Pune Smart City.
  • Advised and assisted an SPV of Khaleeji Commercial Bank Bahrain, on their real estate venture in India which included title diligence and joint development of over 500 acres of land on the outskirts of Mumbai.

Restructuring and insolvency

  • Solomon & Co. represents several Indian and international banks and also Indian and multinational business houses in proceedings under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code at the National Company Law Tribunal.
