Nick is a Partner and Head of the Employment, Regulatory and Dispute Resolution team. Nick has over 27 years' employment experience including 6 years at Reynolds Porter Chamberlain where he acted for a number of Trade Unions.

This experience means Nick is more than qualified to deal with the majority of employment issues our clients find themselves facing, a list that includes discrimination claims, redundancies (including a scheme involving several hundred employees), issues upon transfer of businesses, enforcing 'non compete' type clauses, long term sickness issues, contractual claims and unfair dismissal claims.

Nick has extensive experience in resolving employment disputes for businesses, charities and educational establishments, and also disputes between directors and shareholders disputes.

Whilst Nick is principally involved in assisting fully running organisations, particularly in the not-for-profit sector, occasionally he has to assist in the closure of organisations and the potential employment issues arising from that.  In so doing he has advised in relation to specific obligations relating to multiple redundancies, i.e. collective consultation, addressing these with regard to liaising with recognised trade unions and arrangements relating to the election of employee representatives where appropriate.
