Position
Partner in banking and capital markets. Experience in advising leading financial institutions and other market participants as originators and arrangers on a broad range of securitisation and structured finance transactions, including RMBS, CMBS, CLOs and covered bonds, in addition to UK work, Lucy’s experienced in advising on cross-border transactions, having securitised portfolios in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and most other European jurisdictions and the Nordic regions and Lucy spent several years working as a structure finance lawyer in Tokyo. Lucy has advised both buyers and sellers on asset portfolio sales and related vendor financings. Transactions of note which Lucy has been involved in include advising Lloyds Banking Group on its participation in the UK Government Asset Protection Scheme in 2009, advising on numerous CMBS conduit transactions, including Taurus, Deco and Windermere transactions and RMBS transactions for Northern Rock, Lloyds Banking Group, The Co-operative Bank and Britannia Building Society amongst others. Lucy is currently advising rating agencies and leading financial institutions on a range of transactions, including advising on a £250m RMBS repackaging transaction, the restructuring of a synthetic securitisation secured on German assets, a £5bn central bank liquidity transaction and an auto lease securitisation. Lucy recently advised on the £278m ALBA 2011-RP1 PLC stand alone securitisation of reperforming and non conforming residential mortgage loans.
