Position
Alex advises on a wide range of corporate finance transactions including flotations, secondary offerings and public and private M&A. He has extensive experience in the UK equity capital markets, acting for a number of fully listed and AIM quoted UK and international companies as well as various investment banks and other corporate finance intermediaries across a broad range of industries including betting and gaming, mining and real estate. Alex’s recent experience includes advising: Playtech Ltd on the acquisition of PT Turnkey Services Limited for up to €280m, Liberum Capital Limited in connection with an equity fundraising by way of a placing and open offer by fully listed Queen’s Walk Investment Limited and a related bonus issue of preference shares. He also advised Liberum in its capacity as nominated adviser and broker in connection with the flotation of Squarestone Brasil Limited on AIM; DP Global Properties Limited on its cash offer for fully listed DP Property Europe Limited; Canaccord Genuity and Religare Capital Markets on placings of ordinary shares and convertible preference shares for Noventa, a Mozambican miner and producer of tantalum concentrate, Cenkos Securities Plc, as Nomad and Broker, on the placing of shares in Diamondcorp Plc and Altium Capital Limited, as broker, on secondary placing and cash-confirmation adviser to CPC in connection with CPC’s takeover offer for Tomahawk Pubs Limited. He also advised Altium Capital in its capacity as nominated adviser and broker, on a placing of shares for AIM-listed Cello Group, the proceeds of which were in part used to fund the proposed acquisition of MedErgy Healthgroup Inc.
