Position
Robert acts extensively for banks, multilateral lending institutions, infrastructure investment funds and consortia on project finance and private equity transactions in the UK and abroad. In the UK, Robert has represented senior and mezzanine lending syndicates on PFI projects in the roads, health, defence and other sectors. He has also acted for infrastructure funds on the acquisition and financing of renewable projects. Abroad, Robert has advised on multiple acquisitions and disposals of infrastructure assets in central and eastern Europe, and is recognised as a leading expert in this area with transactional experience across every country in the region. He has also advised banks, consortia and governments on PPP transactions in Europe and further afield. Robert led the successful team that was awarded the ‘Legal Business’ 2006 Project Finance Team of the Year.
