Position
David specialises in various property-related disputes, including service charge disputes, forfeitures, rent reviews, lease renewals, dilapidations claims, adverse possession, title and right to light disputes, and professional negligence claims. He has recently acted for an institutional investor in obtaining vacant possession of a landmark building from 80 tenants and subtenants, enabling a sale of the building to proceed. David has experience in mediations and arbitrations. His most recently reported case was Meretz Investments NV v ACP Ltd in the Court of Appeal. This related to the enforcement of a power of sale by a mortgagee and unlawful means conspiracy. He presents seminars on property-related topics. David is named as a leading individual in property litigation in ‘Chambers’ and ‘Legal 500’, and as an expert in property litigation in ‘Legal Experts’.
