Restructuring and insolvency.
Position
David acts for licensed insolvency practitioners, lenders, creditors, directors, the Insolvency Service and foreign lawyers on both domestic and cross-border insolvencies. He has extensive experience in corporate insolvencies, directors’ disqualification proceedings, directors’ duties, transactional avoidance, tracing claims, civil aspects of commercial fraud and disputes concerning shareholders’ rights and remedies. He has particular expertise in restructuring and insolvency assignments in the insurance and financial services industries. David lectures regularly on domestic and cross-border insolvency. He is a CEDR accredited mediator and is currently a member of both the R3 Education Committee and the CBI Insolvency Panel. He is recognised by both Chambers and The Legal 500 as a leading practitioner to insolvency law.
