Position
Managing partner and co-founder of Burrows Bussin solicitors. Extensive experience of commercial fraud and business crime. Defended both companies and individuals in numerous cases brought by the SFO and HM Revenue and Customs and has particular experience of VHCC cases, including several major MTIC frauds. Civil proceedings brought by HMRC and SOCA and Hansard proceedings are a particular specialism, as are asset recovery and restraint and confiscation proceedings, including dealing with management receivers. Experience also includes defending environmental prosecutions, Trading Standards matters and professional disciplinary proceedings. A specialist Fraud Panel Supervisor and a Higher Court Advocate (criminal proceedings).
