Significant Matters:

  1. Acting for Receivers of a Hong Kong company in an interpleader summons where the Hong Kong company sought to argue that the assets said to be worth USD80,000,000 did not fall within the group of assets over which a charge was created.
  2. Acting for a minority shareholder in a minority oppression suit in the High Court and successfully defending the decision before the Court of Appeal.
  3. Acting for a Dubai company in the setting aside of an injunction obtained in the High Court enjoining the making of payments on a letter of credit and in related arbitral proceedings under the auspices of SIAC.
  4. Acting for a Singapore company subsidiary of a large Indian conglomerate in an ad hoc arbitration relating to the supply of certain pumps.
