Specialising in large and complex disputes, Stan has acted in high profile corporate and securities law and professional negligence actions and has earned a reputation as a strategic and commercially minded litigator. Stan has represented parties in a number of landmark decisions in corporate law including Gambotto v WCP Ltd, a decision of the High Court of Australia, described at the time by the Australian Financial Review as a “ruling that has radically altered the balance of power within corporate Australia”. Stan also provides advice on takeovers, shareholder disputes, securities transactions, general business disputes, misleading conduct claims and investigations by regulatory bodies including ASIC, ASX and the ACCC.
