Real estate litigation.
Position
Zoe specialises in all areas of real estate and landlord and tenant litigation and acts for a wide range of real estate clients, including investment landlords, retail tenants, local authorities, national property development and property holding companies and residential property developers. In addition to general property litigation work she has gained a particular expertise in advising land owners, developers and occupiers in relation to the complex legislation surrounding agricultural holdings and farm business tenancies and in advising land owners in relation to the impact of the Telecommunications Act 1984. She has also developed a niche practice advising in relation to riparian rights and the occupation of land sited adjacent to inland waterways and regularly deals with applications for possession and injunctive relief in respect of craft unlawfully moored on inland waterways. Reported cases include: Nigel Moore v British Waterways Board [2010] EWCA Civ 42 in which she acted for British Waterways Board.

Trained Shoosmiths; qualified 2002 into property litigation, promoted to associate May 2006; partner with effect from 1 May 2010.
