Cheang & Ariff’s Cindy Goh Joo Seong heads the firm’s IP practice, which handles enforcement and disputes, particularly for patent and copyright matters. The firm has a busy practice representing foreign clients in filing oppositions to trade mark registrations: for example, it acted for Kawasaki Heavy Industries in opposing a registration by a Taiwanese company, and successfully represented two Australian companies at appeal.
