Position
Partner in the dispute resolution and commercial litigation department and head of corporate recovery and insolvency. Karen deals with a mix of general commercial litigation and contentious insolvency matters. She deals with both corporate and personal insolvency, acting mainly on behalf of insolvency practitioners but also for commercial clients and individuals. She has particular expertise in asset finance and leasing, one of her major clients being Michael Gerson Leasing/Aurora Leasing Limited. As well as undertaking a broad mix of general commercial litigation and contentious insolvency, Karen deals with professional negligence claims.
Career
Trainee legal executive with Taylor Walton and then Jacques & Lewis (London); qualified as a legal executive (fellow) 1990; qualified as a solicitor with Foreman Laws; Sherrards 2004; partner in 2010.
