Position

Specialises in negotiation and documentation of commercial property transactions, development and construction advice, general commercial and contract advice, Public Works Act issues and Treaty settlement negotiations. Career

Charlotte has been involved in the development and negotiation of a range of land contracts, leases, tenders, development and construction contracts, (including NZS 3910, 3915 and 3916) easements/encumbrances. Charlotte provides specialist advice on Public Works Act transactions and has acted for the Office of Treaty Settlements in the negotiation and drafting of numerous deeds of settlement with iwi. She acts for both government and private sector clients. Charlotte also advises a number of community organisations.

The property and construction team at Buddle Findlay is led by commercial property and finance partner Daniel Kelleher in Auckland and construction partner Charlotte Von Dadelszen in Wellington. The firm frequently handles high-profile projects for local authorities, including urban regeneration projects in Auckland, and has specialist expertise in Treaty Waitangi settlements. It is also strong in property finance, including in relation to innovative social housing projects, and has a growing presence in the market for infrastructure developments such as irrigation projects, telecoms projects and PPPs. Von Dadelszen focuses on leasing, construction and land-related property advice. Kelleher has more than 20 years' experience in real estate matters and acted for Panuku Development Auckland in the Transform Manukau project. He also worked with corporate partner Grant Dunn to assist Adamantem Capital with the property aspects of its acquisition of retirement village operator Heritage Lifecare. Dominic Lundon retired.
