Drew & Napier rates top tier in patents

June 2012

01 June 2012 - Drew & Napier LLC (“Drew”) is rated Tier 1 for its patents work by noted IP publication, Asia IP, for three years running since the inception of the rankings. The results will be announced in the upcoming issue of the publication.

Drew’s top tier ranking was derived after Asia IP conducted a thorough survey across 16 Asian jurisdictions involving peer and client feedback. Asia IP will publish its trade marks results in a subsequent issue.

Drew was also recently ranked Tier 1 by Managing Intellectual Property for its work in patents, trade marks and copyright, the only local firm to have made such an achievement.

  • Competition Appeal Board Dismisses Most Grounds of Appeal by Modelling Agencies

    On 10 April 2013, the Competition Appeal Board (CAB) dismissed all but two grounds of appeal by five modelling agencies that had been found by the Competition Commission of Singapore (CCS) to have engaged in price-fixing activities. CAB's decision resulted in a reduction in the total amount of financial penalties for the five modelling agencies.
