Mr. Wang practices mainly in the areas of general banking and finance, asset financing and related dispute settlement.


Mr. Wang is a partner of Jun He Law Offices and currently practices at our Beijing office.


Mr. Wang worked in China Eastern Airlines as in-house counsel for three years since 1998. His professional practice started in November, 2001 when he joined former Junyi Law Office. In April of 2007, Mr. Wang joined Run Ming Law Office as a founder partner. In June of 2011, Mr. Wang joined Jun He Law Offices. Mr. Wang has been acting as PRC legal counsel to scores of international and domestic banks and enterprises and rendered comprehensive legal services in respect of their bilateral loans, syndication loan, project financing, export credit, trade finance, acquisition finance, asset finance and derivatives transactions in civil aviation, electric power, real estate, petroleum and chemical refinement, non-ferrous metallurgy, shipbuilding, packaging and paper making. Mr. Wang is one of a limited number of experienced lawyers in China who practice in asset finance and lease. He has been advising various Chinese and foreign airlines, leasing companies, banks, leasing managers, corporate jet users and operators and other related clients in purchase, operating lease, financing lease, tax-driven lease, tax-bonded lease, sale and lease-back, advance payment financing, operation management, receivables assignment, portfolio acquisition, lease restructure, lease asset securitization of large capital equipments (such as commercial aircraft, corporate jet, ship, aviation and vessel engine) and machinery and electric equipments. Mr. Wang also has wealthy experiences in corporate matters and dispute settlement in banking, leasing and aviation industries. He has assisted clients in acquisition of domestic and foreign enterprises and set-up of leasing companies in China and foreign countries and has been the perennial legal counsel to several Chinese and foreign invested leasing companies. In addition, Mr. Wang has represented clients in their contractual disputes regarding bank financing, aircraft and equipment leasing, environmental equipment supply and bankruptcy claims, including arbitration with China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC). Mr. Wang was listed in Law Business Research's Who's Who Legal: Aviation 2010 for his excellent practices in aircraft finance and lease.

Mr. Wang is a member of the All-China Bar Association.

JunHe LLP provides 'high-quality' service in aviation finance and general loan transactions, and is instructed in the development of new financing products. In one particularly stand-out matter, Fang Yi advised Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) and HSBC on a refinancing transaction involving onshore and offshore facilities. Headed by Hui Zhou, the team is also active in transactions involving non-performing loans. For example, Qinghui Miao advised Bain Capital Credit Group on its acquisition of a significant non-performing loan portfolio from Huarong AMC Jiangsu Branch. The department also has experience in real estate finance and project finance, where it has advised borrowers such as Shanghai Lingang Wind Farm. Liang Deng handled a number of high-value investment transactions, and Gang Wang specialises in asset and aviation finance. JunHe LLP's practice has expertise in a diverse range of areas such as commercial litigation, arbitration, FCPA and bribery investigations and internal investigations. The team is highly active in IP litigation, as well as financial and bankruptcy disputes; for example, Zhaolin Wang and Jiangang Wang represented in a patent infringement litigation resulting the successful invalidation of two patents of, and IP specialist Qiang Ma is acting for a Chinese client in trade mark litigation before the Beijing IP court. Other highlights include representing an SOE in an arbitration in relation to a joint venture dispute, handling a series of EPC contract and construction disputes, and acting for a Chinese manufacturing company in a claim pertaining the liability of infringement of shareholder interest. The department is led by Zhenyong Ye, Weining Zou, Qing Li and Zhao Wang which also includes the highly recommended Li Cai, Yanli Zheng and Xiang Chen.
