Mr. Xiao is one of the founding partners of Jun He Law Offices. He specializes in foreign investments, securities, Merger and Acquisition and general corporate practices.

Career

From 1985 to 1989, Mr. Xiao practiced law first with Beijing No. 7 Law Firm and then with China Legal Affairs Centre. In 1991, he was a visiting attorney in London and Hong Kong under an exchange program jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Justice of the PRC and the British Council. Since 1985, he has advised hundreds of major multinational and domestic clients on a variety of corporate transactions and has represented several of them in litigation and arbitration. He has acted as clients' counsel in diverse industry sectors, such as banking, insurance, securities, telecommunications, natural resources, infrastructure facilities, various manufacturing sectors, agriculture, transportation, entertainment and real estate. Among them, Yongqiang Yu assisted Vanke Hong Kong with its investment in the privatisation of Global Logistic Properties with a consortium of investors. A Beijing-based team, led by Yu Zheng and Hongbin Zhang, acted for Xinhua Net, and its subsidiaries Xinhua New Media and China Economic Information Group, on their joint venture with Hangzhou Ali Venture Capital Investment and Hangzhou Shu Wen Yun Investment Partnership for the establishment of Xinhua Wise Cloud Technological. Shenzhen-based Jiayu Lin  assisted Cardinal Health with the $557m sale of its China drug distribution business to Shanghai Pharmaceuticals.
