Position
Partner and head of corporate, Bill also leads Semple Fraser’s renewables and energy industry group, and is heavily involved in renewable energy and energy from waste projects. Bill is actively involved in advising clients in the waste, renewable and energy sectors on legal aspects of the ROC and FIT regimes, CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme and commercial/contractual opportunities in renewable energy. He also advises on M&A, joint ventures and contractual arrangements and director/officer liability and risk management. Bill also advises a range of companies in the private sector on a variety of corporate and contractual issues including commercial contracts, directors’ duties and corporate governance, and shareholder disputes.
