Position
Partner specialising in a broad range of projects, construction and infrastructure work from standard form PFIs to innovative outsourcings and partnership contracts via bespoke delivery vehicles. Drafted the housing procurement pack for the 4Ps and the Department for Communities and Local Government. Worked on a number of pathfinder PFIs in the housing and social care sector. Recent work includes advising on the special purpose vehicle for the Olympic Park legacy (including a £150m property transfer); land assembly and utilities infrastructure on the Olympic Park for the 2012 games and beyond; negotiating sports stadia contracts on the Olympic Park and in Portsmouth; outsourcing local education authority services; establishing joint ventures and charitable trusts; renegotiating development and funding agreements in Lewisham; taking the Gallions Park, East London housing project through competitive dialogue; and advising the LDA and the Mayor on the creation of asset-backed vehicles for the delivery of housing in London. Works for both private and public sector clients (including local and central government, public sector agencies, banks, investors, private sector consortia, and construction and hard and soft FM contractors. Has an impressive record of success in working bid-side on major projects.
