Position
Andrea's practice is extensive and covers the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment law, including in particular unfair dismissal, breach of contract, age/sex/disability discrimination, restrictive covenants, bonus disputes, team moves, TUPE, directors service agreements, transactional corporate support, consultancy agreements and all aspects of employment tribunal work. She represents both corporate and individual clients of the firm. Andrea regularly advises on matters ranging from ad hoc advice to individuals on specific situations, group restructurings and providing employment advice/support in conjunction with the firm's corporate department on M&A transactions. Has recently been involved in several company/group restructures which include complex TUPE issues, dealing with the exits of senior executives and collective redundancy legislation. She has further added to her expertise in the present climate in providing practical assistance on the effective enforcement of restrictive covenants and employment issues arising from business and asset transactions out of administration. She is active in bringing practical legal advice to clients of the firm, generally keeping client businesses abreast of the ever-changing tenets of employment law and to facilitate this, organises and speaks at several discussion suppers and seminars every year. With her team she produces monthly articles for publication and a seasonal Employment Law Bulletin covering recent hot topics.
