Position
Victoria Younghusband is a partner specialising in the asset management industry. She advises investment funds on all aspects, from set up, flotation and secondary issues to governance, mergers, restructuring and winding up. She acts for both listed and unlisted funds, closed-ended and open-ended. She also advises asset managers, from set up to flotation, and on mergers and acquisitions, in respect of funds and of other asset management businesses. She is recognised in ‘The Legal 500’ and ‘Chambers’ as a leading adviser on investment funds and is recommended in PLC’s ‘Which Lawyer – Investment Funds’. She has been described as having a knack for ‘making sure everything runs smoothly’ and praised for her ability to ‘explain things with great clarity and brevity’.
Career
Trained Stephenson Harwood; qualified in England and Wales, and Hong Kong; partner Stephenson Harwood 1989, Hong Kong 1991-95; partner and co-head of the investment fund team Lawrence Graham 1998-2007; has written a number of articles on investment funds and corporate governance and is a regular speaker at conferences on these topics.
