Position

Partner in the financial services group, specialising in financial markets and regulatory matters, including structuring financial products and advising financial services firms. Current areas of work include advising banks, brokers, fund managers, private equity firms, investment exchanges, insurance companies and other investment businesses on authorisation and ongoing requirements, buy-outs, group structuring, regulatory capital, funds, derivatives, Internet and e-commerce developments, cross-border business, market abuse, agreements with customers and service providers (including clearing and custody), implementing the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive regime and advising on the effect of UK and EU regulation.
