Position
Duncan Woollard is a partner in the corporate department of SJ Berwin LLP. Duncan advises in relation to an exceptionally wide variety of private equity, infrastructure and related fundraisings, funds of funds, venture funds, carried interest, co-investment and other incentive schemes, secondary transactions, fund restructurings and spin-outs, mergers and the establishment of new private equity houses. Duncan also has particular expertise in mezzanine funds, and advises leading players in this market such as Hutton Collins, Mezzanine Management and Babson Capital Europe, and is at the forefront of European developments in the field of distressed debt funds. Duncan also has a particular interest in the Italian private equity market. Duncan has over 11 years’ experience of the private equity industry and fund formation.
