Position
Alison heads the London occupational disease team. She has over 20 years of experience acting for claimants from a wide range of industries in disease and complex, high-value employer’s liability cases, including shipyard workers, power station workers, construction workers, BT engineers and shopfitters, to name just a few. She is recognised as an expert in respiratory injury claims, particularly asbestos disease and lung cancer cases, but she also has extensive experience in claims involving industrial asthma, dermatitis, work-related upper limb disorders and occupational stress. In the past 12 months she has recovered significant damages in a large number of asbestos-related claims. She is a regular lecturer on disease claims. She also provides training in occupational disease issues to trade unions, and writes regular articles for their journals. Alison also has considerable experience of complex high-value claims, particularly those involving limb loss and head injury (highest award received: £3.1m).
