Position
James is head of the eight-strong London clinical negligence department and a principal lawyer (partner). The expanding department is now based in the RJW London office, where James and his team provide a highly effective nationwide service to a number of prestigious clients. James' practice encompasses all aspects of clinical negligence claims, including birth injuries to mother and baby, anaesthetic injury claims, surgical errors, misdiagnosis/delays in cancer cases, GP negligence, cosmetic surgery, and hip and knee surgery. He has also successfully pursued one of the largest MRSA claims ever awarded in the UK. He is very experienced in inquest law and procedure, and the interaction of inquest law and the civil claims process.
