Criminal defence department and professional regulatory department.
Currently undertakes extensive criminal defence work both at the police station, Magistrates Court and Crown Court for a range of offences, including theft, rape, driving offences, child neglect, assaults and burglary. This involves attending upon clients, preparation of cases, and adhering to strict deadlines set by the Courts and the Crown Prosecution. Diljit also undertakes civil work in the County Courts in relation to debt recovery and both prosecutes and defends. Diljit also works in the professional regulatory department, undertaking cases for dentists before the GDC, midwives before the NMC and teachers before the NTU.
