Litigation.

Position

Head of the litigation department. Specialises in property litigation, insolvency, litigation and dispute resolution and personal injury. Expertise in all aspects of property litigation with particular emphasis on commercial disputes, including lease renewals (contested and non-contested) under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954; dilapidations; building claims; interpretation of covenants within both commercial and residential leases insolvency with particular reference to landlord and tenant; and rent recovery. Also advises on the forfeiture of leases and actions against former tenants. Acts for substantial public limited companies, property investors and individual clients. Also acts for insolvency practitioners, creditors, banks and other financial investors, advising on all aspects of corporate and personal insolvency including insolvency procedures, asset and debt recovery and restructuring. Deals with professional negligence and disputes involving breaches of trust and fiduciary duty, substantial mortgage fraud cases, and a number of complex and high-value personal injury claims.
