Career
Graham Coy is a Partner in the London office. He joined the firm in August 2016.
He has advised and represented clients in the process of divorce, civil partnership dissolution and cohabitation matters.
Graham is experienced in dealing with cases involving substantial income and capital, both in this country and abroad, as well as complex business, trust and other financial structures . He has frequently advised clients who have been unable to reach agreement about arrangements for children or who are in dispute about one parents proposals to relocate permanently with children overseas.
In addition to being an experienced advocate, Graham was one of the first solicitors to be recognised as an accredited specialist by the Solicitors Family Law Association (now known as Resolution). He is qualified as a mediator with the Family Mediators Association and is able to undertake direct consultation with children. He is also a trained collaborative lawyer.
Graham is a family arbitrator and very recently became one of the very first family arbitrators able to make decisions about children – for example, which parent they should live with and how much time they should spend with the other, as well as issues relating to their health and education.

Graham was educated at Bristol Grammar School and Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, where he studied Law.
His career has spanned three decades and throughout that time he has specialised in family law. Prior to joining Stowe Family Law, Graham set up and developed a very successful family law practice which achieved top tier ratings from The Legal 500 and Chambers directories.
