Position
Senior ?partner and head of a team of highly experienced family lawyers advising on all aspects of family and matrimonial law including separation, divorce, cohabitation, civil partnerships, disputes involving children (including applications for residence and defined contact, prohibited steps and specific issue applications, leave to remove and international child abduction), prenuptial agreements and complex financial settlements often with an international dimension. Camilla has advised clients including royalty, persons with trust assets, substantial inherited wealth and other medium to high-net-worth individuals from diverse professional backgrounds in substantial and complex family cases.
Career
Trained Payne Hicks Beach; qualified 1992; Trethowans 1992-94; Kingsley Napley 1994-97; Withers 1997-2001; part-time immigration judge 2003-04; founding partner Camilla Baldwin 2005 to date. Co-writer ‘Model Letters for Family Lawyers’ which features a collection of 200 drafted letters for day to day use of family lawyers, covering private law, children matters, changes in domestic violence legislation, legal recognition of civil partnerships, disputes between cohabitants and other areas. Contributor to The Solicitors Family Law Association publications, and co-writer ‘International Aspects of Family Law’ (2nd Ed Spring 2004). Frequently prepares lectures on developments in family law. Recently these included lectures on prenuptial agreements, the treatment of trusts and inherited wealth on divorce and updates on other salient subjects in family law.
