Penningtons Solicitors LLP's corporate team in Basingstoke is sponsoring the launch event for Pitching for Management (P4M) on Wednesday 12 September 2012 at The Innovation Centre in Basing View.

Pitching for Management is a national series of live events across 20 cities offering fast-growth companies the chance to find senior executives and non-executives to help their company proceed to its next stage of growth. This is the first event of its kind in Basingstoke.

At each event, six companies present their businesses and the roles available to a room of highly talented individuals ranging from sales, marketing and finance board positions to mentorships, chair, CEO and non-executive director positions.

Lead partner for the event, Charles Brooks, said: “Through our work with businesses at all stages of development, we know how important it is for companies to get the help that they need at an early stage. This series of events is a great way to bring top talent in from the start to make sure that companies are built on solid knowledge and experience which will enable them to problem solve as they go. We’re hoping that the evening will help current SMEs in Basingstoke to develop and become the next big things in business.”

There is already a strong interest in the region from senior executives in the area who are willing to offer their time, knowledge and expertise to the best local start up and entrepreneurial businesses. In Basingstoke in particular, there is an interest from those wishing to have an exciting second career.
