Position
Partner in the corporate and commercial department and head of IP, IT and e-commerce. Specialises in non-contentious intellectual property, information technology, e-commerce, technology contracts, Data Protection Act and Freedom of Information Act work. In particular: advising clients on issues such as the ownership, protection and exploitation of intellectual property rights, collaboration and research and development contracts, technology transfer, IT procurement and implementation, software licensing, website liability and compliance, branding and advertising, data protection, and freedom of information compliance.

Trained Edge Ellison Solicitors, Birmingham; qualified 1998; upon qualifying joined the commercial department and specialised in intellectual property and commercial contracts; IP department Wragge & Co, Birmingham 2000-01 (completed a secondment with the in-house legal team of HJ Heinz Company Limited); IP department Wragge & Co, London 2001-04 (completed a secondment with the in-house legal team of Charles Schwab Europe). Joined Pannone LLP in May 2004. Promoted to partner and head of IP, IT and e-commerce in May 2005. NW Insider and Pro-Manchester Young Solicitor and Young Professional of the Year 2007.
