Position
Partner; head of the clinical negligence department, handles wide variety of clinical negligence cases, including cases involving injuries of maximum severity, cerebral palsy, amputations and blindness. Has substantial experience of fatal claims, particularly arising from failure to diagnose/misdiagnosis of cancer. Substantial experience in health law, including treatment decision cases and human rights, of note represented mother in Re T, and represented RK and AK in the case of JD et al, which was successful before the European Court of Human Rights and represented the claimants in Rabone v Pennine Care NHS Trust; has a special interest in medical ethics and lectures widely on issues relevant to her practice.
