Position
Radford handles a wide range of general commercial litigation, with particular emphasis on insolvency and finance. Radford acts for insolvency practitioners, financial institutions, creditors, companies and directors and has advised in relation to several high-profile corporate insolvencies, including TXU, HIH Insurance, Flightlease, Rafidain Bank, ITVDigital, MG Rover, BFS Investments and boo.com. Cases include McGrath v Riddell (House of Lords), AES Barry v TXU Europe Energy Trading Ltd, Re TXU UK Ltd and Phoenix Venture Holdings v Independent Trustee Services.
Career
Radford has lectured on corporate insolvency at University College, London and is a contributor to ‘The Law of Administrators and Receivers of Companies’ by Lightman & Moss. He has written articles for ‘Corporate Rescue and Insolvency’, ‘Financial News’, ‘Recovery’ and Butterworth’s ‘Journal of International Banking and Financial Law’.
