Dean is a partner in the corporate department, handling major transactions. His practice focuses on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and on property-related corporate work, with the latter including deals in excess of £1.5bn. Client companies come from a wide range of industries, most notably telecoms, media and financial services, and among them are names such as Matterhorn Capital, CB Richard Ellis and Dover Corporation. dan is a member of the firm's sports law group and has recently been involved in a number of football-related transactions acquiring Leeds United on behalf of the Cellina Family and selling Leyton Orient on behalf of Matchroom Sports.     In recent years, the country ́s the government has been committed to improving Taxation in Nicaragua and attempting to follow the legislative model used by some of the other countries in the region. Starting January 1st, 2013, a new tax law (Law No. 822, Tax Concertation Law) came into force in and completely changed the taxation system in Nicaragua. Two years later a new law was issued by the National Assembly containing more than 80 amendments, additions and repeals (Law No 891) which came into force December 18th, 2014.
