Position
Partner and head of the Eastern Region healthcare practice. Gill’s recent work includes advising NHS bodies on the carrying out of public consultations and related vires issues, advising NHS bodies and Foundation Trusts on partnership working with private healthcare providers, including on the government’s independent sector programme; advising PCT on primary care contracts, acting for NHS bodies on clinical trials including on issues around ethics committee approval, patient information and liability; advising on collaborative procurement including appropriate legal structures and establishing and operating large framework agreement, advising a range of NHS bodies on large commercial contracts with suppliers.
Career
Gill began work in the voluntary sector, moved into publishing, working as politics and history editor at Cambridge University Press for four years before qualifying as a solicitor. After a brief time in the City she joined Mills & Reeve in 1997 and became partner in 2001.
