Position

Graeme has over 25 years’ experience of risk management, dispute resolution and complex litigation (High Court, ICC and other arbitration and alternative dispute resolution) involving a broad range of commercial issues including product liability, commercial contract, intellectual property, and competition. His clients include public and private companies and public institutions and authorities. Examples of recent work include: advising private and public companies in connection with a broad range of contentious issues and complex litigation, including product liability, termination and enforcement of contracts, licences and joint ventures, often involving a foreign element; obtaining injunctions and freezing orders to protect confidential information and to restrain unfair competition and to enforce restrictive covenants; advising boards of directors on a variety of risk management, liability and corporate governance issues; managing 600 cases on behalf of a manufacturing company; pursuing and defending multi million pound claims by and against foreign distributors and JV partners; pursuing and defending shareholder and warranty claims arising from company and share sales and acquisitions; advising companies and individuals in connection with executive terminations and restrictive covenants; representing parties in ICC and other arbitrations and mediations involving complex licensing arrangements and other commercial disputes. Graeme also has substantial experience in the healthcare and higher education sectors.
