Position
Tony advises on a wide range of disputes, including shareholder disputes, partnership disputes, contractual claims and large debt matters. He also provides support to the restructuring and insolvency team, advising on contentious insolvency matters and personal insolvency issues. Tony is also a member of the charities and social enterprise team and acts for a number of clients in contentious probate matters. He advises regularly on disputes involving legacies to charities, including the validity of wills, claims under the Inheritance (provision for Family Dependants) Act 1975, problem executors, claims against solicitors, difficulties arising out of the sale of property within estate, equitable claims (including proprietary estoppel), undue influence and fraud.
