Following a group reorganisation in 2016, Memery Crystal LLP has continued to invest heavily in its real estate department. In a spate of recent changes, Victoria Lowe was promoted to partner, and the department brought on a number of new lawyers including senior associates Helen Abel and Ben Shore, who joined the firm from Kingsley Napley LLP and TfL, respectively. The team has handled numerous multimillion-pound letting transactions, which included Alastair Moss advising a retail bank on its lease of a Liverpool Street property, and Richard Evans assisting Travis Perkins with a lease renewal at its Hampstead premises. The group is also active in the hotel and hospitality sectors, where Joanne Kelly is advising Shiva Hotels on the refurbishment projects at its Central London properties. Kelly also acts for Vastint Hospitality in relation to the roll-out and development of its Moxy hotel brand. In the investment space, Daniel Abrahams advised PPR Streatham on the £23.3m sale of 350 Streatham High Road to an institutional pension fund.
