The firm can boast over 80 years practicing administrative and public law.  We have practiced law since 1935 and have followed the path marked by our founder, senator Mario Follieri, we pursue the mission to provide legal services at the highest quality. In 2018, “Studio Legale Follieri” became “Enrico Follieri & Associati” and with its offices in Lucera, Foggia, Pescara, and Rome is going to consolidate its market position and, most importantly, implement innovative best practices for a future of stable growth, under the lead of its managing partner Professor Enrico Follieri.

The public and administrative law practice is the core business of the firm almost since its foundation. The practice boasts a great track record in legal advice and defence in administrative and public law. In recent years the practice has dealt with a significant amount of major cases involving administrative and public law before the Administrative Courts of first instance and appeal (TAR and Consiglio di Stato), the Supreme Court (Corte di Cassazione), the Courts of Auditors of first instance and appeal (Sezioni Regionali and Sezione Centrale della Corte dei Conti), the High Court of Public Water (Tribunale Superiore delle Acque Pubbliche), and the Constitutional Court (Corte Costituzionale). The practice has moreover advised public and private entities during administrative procedures and negotiated agreements involving public and administrative law aspects and has often been asked for legal opinions in complex cases all over Italy, both by public entities (authorities and companies) and private companies and entrepreneurs. During its 80 year history, the practice has regularly managed valuable and important deals and files.

Academic standing: all team members have a strong commitment to academic research. It gives the practice a wide range of knowledge, aptitude for exploring new areas of administrative and public law, and a renowned standing in negotiations, legal opinions and courts. Moreover, our managing partner Enrico Follieri, is a full professor of administrative law and is one of the most eminent Italian professors in this field. The team also involves two young PhDs and research fellows in administrative law and one of them has been recognized eligible to Associate Professor of Administrative Law by the relevant national commission (which evaluates the scientific standing of the candidates for associate professor at national and international level).

Joint venture with other firms, practicing different areas of law: in September 2018, the firm entered into a joint venture with other two firms, Studio legale Fatigato and Studio legale Teta, which respectively practice labour law and restructuring, banking and finance. Born as a mutual referral relationship, the joint venture FFT Fatigato Follieri Teta allows us to offer our clients a wide range of specialized lawyers, grant them high-quality tailor-made legal services in several areas of law and, when needed, offer only one project manager (chosen among the lawyers working in the firms), which manages the work of all firms involved in the project.
