Career

Lukasz Wolk is a leading expert in providing legal services to the largest companies in Poland operating in the chemical and energy sectors.

 

For a number of years he has advised companies such as Grupa Azoty S.A., Tauron Polska Energia S.A., Energa S.A. and PKN Orlen S.A. – all ranked within the top 20 largest companies in Poland (according to COFACE CEE Top 500 Rankings). Lukasz has advised on numerous acquisitions and restructurings of companies in Poland and abroad, where he has supervised on M&A processes, preceded by due diligence exercises (e.g. transactions involving Serbia, Germany, the Czech Republic as well as in countries in East Africa). In his practice he has provided legal support to foreign entities that have carried out investments in Poland.

Lukasz has extensive experience in particular in court disputes before common courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings in Poland, e.g. before the Arbitration Court at the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw, the Arbitration Court at the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice and abroad, e.g. the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce in Stockholm and the sports arbitration court UEFA in Lausanne.

 

Lukasz currently sits as a judge of the Disciplinary Court at the Krakow Bar of Advocates.

Prior to joining Zieba & Partners, for 11 years Lukasz cooperated with Forystek & Partnerzy Law Firm in Krakow, where he was a partner.
